How I can burn a DVD?

I recently purchased a digital video camera. While I love modern technology sometimes its difficulty more of their value and the instructions are not “easy” reading … LOL I used the mini DVD camcorder and was able to “finalize” the discs. Now I would like to burn to a regular size DVD and make copies. How I can do this?

As nj_nyc said it is difficult to say without knowing what software you are using … First of all, however, you must have a DVD recorder currently installed on your computer (not the same as a CD burner). If it does, then the instructions should work. Otherwise, the process is very similar to burning a CD … will have to “finalize” or “format” as did with the mini DVD to play on a standard DVD player. There are also plenty of programs that will allow you to look professional (DVD themes, menus, chapters, etc). If you are running Windows Vista (Home Premium or Ultimate), it comes with a pretty good program and easy to use allowing you to create DVD’s … Also I think Corel DVD offers some of the programs (I have had good luck with Corel products) and you can download a free trial of most of them in www.corel.com what program you choose to use, the camcorder should have a USB cable that allows you to connect directly to your computer, saving you the extra step of burying the “mini DVD’s “Hope this helps!
